Make It From Scratch #42

Twas three weeks before Christmas and all through the land people were preparing for this time of sharing.

Delicious smells fill each house as gifts and meals are made both by the wife and her spouse.

For breakfast Buttermilk biscuits or Sage Ciabatta Rolls and eggs would be a good start, or perhaps Filled Donuts would hit the spot.

Maybe first munch on some Hot Artichoke Dip, and the enjoy Turkey Curry Salad for lunch. Serve it with coleslaw made with Homemade Apple Cider Vinegar.

For dinner Masala Rice, perhaps with a dollop of Greek Yogurt. End the meal with Kheer.

At this time of year there must be desserts. Fresh Pecans are used to make Cranberry Pecan Cake or maybe try a Bittersweet Chocolate Pecan Pie. Of course there must be Cookies! Enjoy them with a cup a tea sweetened with Honey.

Wash up all those dishes with homemade dishwashing soap.

The houses will be filled with decoration for all the friends and family that will soon fill it with celebration.

Create a wreath that is not only a lovely decoration, but also a feast for the birds. Trim the tree with Natural Christmas Ornaments. Put all those Christmas catalogs to good use by creating a Paper Christmas.

Spruce up that old couch with an Easy Slip Cover. Create works of art and hang them to show the world.

Gifts are loving placed under the tree, sure to bring smiles for all that will see.

Homemade christmas gift ideas, to-go boxes and purses? Oh my!, so many ideas. Make your own Eco-Bag for shopping or to give as a gift. Even Rags are pretty enough to be given as gifts when they are hand knitted.

Wrap those gifts up in a cute Christmas Gift Bag, and tie it up with some ribbon from the Ribbon Storage Box. Perfect!

Soon thoughts will turn to the new year. Goals, and plans will be made, and many will find extra pounds on their rear.

Improve Your Skills And Get A Lucrative Job. Plan for Retirement. Maybe you can Lose weight with Wii Sports if you found a Wii under your tree.
