What?! Where can I sell them?
Well I posted this about 4:30:
I've listed some of my small sized diapers and wraps on Ebay. You can see them by looking at items for sale by stkappleto. And if you are wondering, selling the diapers is my way of admitting that we are done having children; barring some unforeseen dramatic change of heart or intervention. Can you tell I am still having a hard time committing to no more babies 100%? *sniff, sniff*At the time I already had bids on two items. Then about 5:15 I went to check on them again. My listings were disappearing. What is going on? My alerts informed me that it is a violation of eBay used clothing policy to sell used cloth diapers or wraps. UGH! I spent most of my afternoon on those listings! Does anyone know I a place I can sell them? They are far from perfect condition, but are too good to just toss. Help!

Stephanie,
I'll think on it some more but off the top of my head, I know you can host a pic of them on Photobucket (or where ever really) and then post them for sale on the yahoo group WVYARDSALE
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/wv_yardsale/
It's free so there's nothing to loose! I ran into this problem once with my breast pump. They wouldn't let me list it.
Craigslist? Here's a list of places you might try:

And the Cloth Diaper Exchange:

I haven't tried any of these places, but people are really seaching for used diapers now that ebay has banned them.
I'll be using craigslist when I sell mine.
cathswap is a Yahoo! group for Catholic Homeschooling materials (it's HUGE). On Fridays, they have "Friday Free Day" where you can list things not having to do with homeschooling.
WHAT? I've sold cloth diapers on eBay. They are constantly changing their stupid little policies. It's a wonder they're as successful as they are! Ugh!
There's a flea market board at iVillage that used to have a very active cloth diaper section. It looks like it's been redone and there are not specific categories for selling/buying but you could post in the general "for sale" section. Include a link to your eBay feedback and people will be more likely to buy from a newbie. Here's the link: http://messageboards.ivillage.com/n/mb/listsf.asp?webtag=iv-ppfleamarket&nav=start
Thanks for all the suggestions. I'm going to have to think about which to use, and how much to charge for that matter. The best laid plans. . . .
What???? That is crazy. I bought used cloth diapers on ebay and planned to resell them there as well. Bummer. Let me know where you decide to sell them and how it goes.
And about the final baby thing. I keep telling Jake I have post tubal regret....although logically I know I NEVER want to be pregnant again. When the Amish ladies came over the one said she had a hysterectomy and felt sad she couldn't have anymore children. I asked her how many she already had - she said EIGHT. So, I think that goes to show no matter how many you have or why you decided not to have more there will always be a little sadness dealing with it.

There is a section called spots corner that you can list them on for $2.50 for 2 weeks, no other fees. All you have to do is register, which is free.
I host my shopping cart on there for just $5/month, it's a wonderful wahm mall dedicated to natural products and tons of cloth diapers and related items.
Hth!
And, yeah, e-bay did this crap about 2 months ago and got a lot of moms very angry. There is still a petition going around, but most seem to think there is no changing e-bay's mind.
It really stings for a lot of moms hoping to recoup some of their investment. I could go on and on, I'm a cd mom myself:)
Wow, that is so horrible, Stephanie! I bought my diapers used and had planned to sell them back on Ebay to recoup the expense. We are done having babies too so I am getting ready to post my large diapers. Let me know if you need any in this size. They are in used condition (some spotting on the Fuzzi Bunz), but I still have mediums and larges that I need to unload.
Did you try BabyCenter? They have an excellent community board and I think they swap on Thursdays (could be wrong??) I bought most of my diapers off of there!
I have bought from www.diaperswappers.com
My daughter, who is expecting my grandson in November, spends Thursday mornings on Babycenter checking out the diaper swap.
I made $$$ on some used diapers last year on eBay. Can't understand their policies. People sell creepy things over there that aren't banned. Ever check out those reborn baby dolls?
I too found out the hard way about a week ago when ebay took down my diaper wrap auctions stating the same policy. grrr! Since then, I have found numerous websites that swap/buy/sell used diapers and wraps. Here's a list:
Yahoo Groups
craigslist
clothdiaperexchange.com
clothmama.com
diaperpin.com
diaperswappers.com
diapertraders.com
hyenacart.com
littleblessingsresale.com
mommyauctions.com
swapbabygoods.com
usednappies.co.uk
If hygiene is really a concern, then used swimwear, wetsuits, shoes/sandals, socks, dishware/utensils (to name a few examples), come into contact with body fluids and pathogens just as easily as cloth diapers. The significant difference is that cloth diapers users are more fastidious about cleaning diapers and exercising proper hygiene, because, after all, the end user (no pun intended) is a baby. My diaper covers were rinsed, then soaked twice in a clean water/laundry detergent mixture before being washed with all the regular clothes. I handled dirty diapers and wraps with GLOVES. I have no doubt other CD families were as careful as I was with handling and reusing cloth diapers.
The money I saved using cloth diapers is exponential, the versatility of cloth diapers is endless (burp rag, changing pad, wipes, lovey, etc.), the lack of smelly diapers and diaper pail was a relief, and last but not least, the less garbage I had to take out was beneficial financially and environmentally (no garbage bags, no landfill). Oh, I forgot to mention, I never had to buy wipes because all I had to do is wet ONE clean diaper to handle all the mess. Umm...yeah, paper diapers really are SO much better *sarcastically*...I'm no tree hugger, but even I can see the benefits of using cloth over paper.
Hi - I setup www.usednappies.co.uk when my daughters diapers were removed from ebay. I have recently setup www.myuseddiapers.com - I hope this is of use.
Sarah.
myuseddiapers.com is good to I don't think anyone know about that one.
