Rockin'

I've been named a Rockin' Girl Blogger. Thanks Celeste. Now I get to name five more Rockin' Girl Bloggers. It is a hard choice. There are so many blogs out there that I enjoy. I hope that the ones I've picked haven't been picked already.

First I'll keep it the family. After all, families need to stick together right?

The Miller Way - Delilah is my sister-in-law, and mommy to one boy and one girl, and another girl who will be here very soon. She is incredibly creative and talented. Her posts are sometimes about her kids, sometimes about life in general, and sometimes her creative endeavors. She has opinions and she isn't afraid to share them! That is what we all love about her!

It's All for the Best - Heather is my husband's cousin and mommy to two boys. She is stay at home mom extraordinaire! You'll find posts about her kids, her crafting, helpful hints and frugal ideas. She also has a food blog, Fat Bottomed Girl.

Controlled Chaos - Mandy is another of my husband's cousins, Heather's sister. Also, mommy to two boys. Mandy is sweet and sassy, though she has held the sass back a bit on her blog I think. She posts about life as a working mom, her sons, and the sometimes the not too pleasant interactions with family and coworkers.

That is all the female bloggers in the family. The last two I've picked are long time blogging buddies. Well long time when you consider that I've only been reading blogs a little over a year.

Homesteading Neophyte - Phelan is mommy to three boys, but mainly blogs about homesteading and homesteading concerns; gardening, animals and things that affect them. She is a very complex person; a strong woman, a biker who listens to opera and writes beautiful poetry. We look at some things differently, but I consider her a friend.

Butterfly Mama - Heidi is mommy to one boy and one girl soon to be born. Heidi doesn't post frequently, and has been posting even less lately. They are in the middle of a move. When she is posting, her posts always make you smile or make you think. She is a nature lover. She talks about God in a real way that you don't find often. You can sense the deep underlying peace in her, regardless of circumstances. She is also one the most genuinely sweet bloggers I've met out there.

So girls, I think you are Rockin'. Go ahead and pick five ladies that you think Rock!
