more ramblings from Tim

I was looking for new (used) cars for the family on eBay the other day and there was a nice mini van (Town and country something or other) for about $5000. I would pay over $5000ish for a new (used) car. I don't think I should have to pay that much for a car. I can't believe people pay in the thousands of dollars for just a car. I will never buy a new car. I know you never supposed to speak in absolutes like never or you always... Anyway, that's another post.

This Town and Country was out of Philadelphia , PA, and I was checking on one way flights to PA, to drive this thing back home, of course when there is flying involved, I am really dreaming because it costs a lot to fly anywhere now a days...When I was searching for flights I came across this site to book hotels in Amsterdam, Rome, and Barcelona. Now Amsterdam, I'm not to fond of, Rome, Barcelona, I might be interested in. Steph and I always wanted to travel ... oh wait, we have four kids{under 10 years old}.... It might happen in about 20 years, but I can dream for a couple minutes anyway. They had two night stays starting at$76.92. If you can get there that's not a bad way to go. The had prices ranging from $76.92 to $523.08 to$2179.00. So what ever floats your boat.*insert witty cliche here*

So if you are ever in the mood to go to Amsterdam, Barcelona or Rome, here would be a good place to start. So where was I? oh yeah I was talking about the town and country minivan that we wanted. Steph wants AWD, and two sliding doors... Anything right now will be better the that van she is driving now....

my sister and her husband have a town and country. I fell in love with that vehicle...until I saw its sales tag! Around here, they hold their value for a long, long time...

Yea, my Windstar is on its last leg and we're starting to look for another. I hate shopping for cars because it bugs that they're so expensive for just a piece of transportation.
