Make Your Own Online Coloring Pages

I posted awhile back about the dress up doll games at the Doll Palace. She loves to go there and dress up the animated princess dolls. Sometimes the boys help too, but I doubt that they would admit that if you asked them.

Now, they have a new feature, Coloring Pages, There a large number of categories of doll pictures to color. I think Lydia will like the Cinderella section, or of course, the princess section. The child chooses a picture, chooses a color from a large pallet, and clicks where they want the color to be. They can save their pictures, and send their friends the url to see their creations.

Fun? Yes, but there are lots of sites that you can color at. What is unique about this is children can upload their own drawings to create coloring pages. The child draws a picture with black marker on white paper. The outline must be closed on the drawing though, for the coloring feature to work. Something like this would work.

Scan the picture and upload it to the site. The picture will become interactive, and the child can color it, and share it with friends.

My daughter may be a bit young for this feature, but what a fun way for a budding artist to share their work.

You do need to register to use this site, but registration is free. Enjoy!
