Make It From Scratch #18

Welcome to edition #18 of Make It From Scratch! Enjoy all the wonderful entries!

From the Herb Garden
I suppose I didn't give everyone enough notice for the "herb theme" this edition. I did try several things. Sage and Onion Bread was my favorite.

Joanna found a very interesting dish to use her Cilantro in. One I plan to try soon, as my cilantro is threatening to bolt daily. From the Garden: Cilantro for Breakfast posted at Sunflowers in my Kitchen.

Main Dishes
Alexandra has found a good way to use up her left overs. She presents Make It From Scratch/ Homemade Hot Pockets posted at Happy Hearts At Home.

Devildogwife made Delicious Gluten-Free Pizza posted at Marine Corps Nomads. Homemade Pizza is always one of my favorites.

The things we take for granted, like cheddar cheese. After begging Jimmie finally got a hold of some cheddar cheese and was inspired to make Tortillas posted at One Child Policy Homeschool.

GP presents Going with the Green with a recipe for Veggie Foccacia and Peach Pecan Muffins posted at INNside Innkeeping in Montana.

Sweets and Treats
YUM! Homemade syrup on pancakes. Gotta love it! Summer presents Make your own fruit syrup posted at Wired For Noise.

:: Suzanne :: presents an easy recipe that is good to make with the kids. Alice Bay Cookbook: Shortbread Cutouts posted at :: adventures in daily living ::.

Nothing beats Strawberry Freezer Jam! Dora shares how she made hers at Y-2K Hippie. (You'll have to scroll down a bit to get to the freezer jam.)

Do It Yourself
Need an impressive and useful gift for a new baby or a shower, and need to stick to a budget? Amy Allen Clark has a great idea Eat Your Heart Out, Martha! (Or How to Make a Diaper Cake) posted at Motherload.

Prince of Thrift presents Your Own Laundry Detergent posted at Make Your Own Cleaning Recipes.

HowToMe made custom containers for the clutter that collects on her shelves. What a fabulous and frugal idea! How to Make Custom Containers posted at HowToMe.
