Share your deals!
Did you go shopping today? My mother, mother-in-law, sister-in-law, Vivian and I ventured out at about 6:00 A.M. this morning for a few hours of deals. Tim went hunting in the woods, we went hunting in Target!
I did get a few baskets to use for some Christmas gifts (3 for $10) and some cards I can put our family picture in for Christmas cards, but that was about all. There were lots of deals to be had, but I personally find for the day after Thanksgiving shopping you need to be organized to hunt and kill to get the deals. I wasn't this year, so I was trying to browse. It just doesn't work at 6:00 in the morning with the baby and a million other people! It was fun to just go hang out though with the girls a bit! They managed to find a few good deals.
Tim by far got the best deal. He got a button buck that will soon be filling our freezer. He and my brother spent most of the morning on Thursday dressing the deer Jake got, today it was Tim's turn. Lots of good lean meat for all of us!

I had a coupon for 20% off at Kiehl's this weekend, so I went to the Kiehl's store and saved some dollars. Yaaaay!

I steered clear of the stores today. I am doing homemade gifts this year and even though there were good deals to be had the best deal this year is for me not to spend money just because it's a good deal!!
